Oji Town, Nara Prefecture, where SAKAGAWA INC. was founded(1957), was a cutting-edge information place for footwear.
With that history and pride in our mind, we are challenging to create new value in footwear.
Exploring design and functionality, fusing tradition and innovation, collaborating with traditional industries all over Japan, and leveraging our unique marketing capabilities to bring out a number of in-house developed products and expand the possibilities of footwear.
We will transmit to the world while inheriting the tradition of footwear in the local industry. We will continue to challenge ourselves.

大和工房-YAMATOKOBO-は、日本の伝統的な草履の製法や技術を受け継ぐ株式会社サカガワのオリジナル雪駄ブランドです。日本古来の履物である雪駄を、伝統の良さを活かしつつより機能的に、モダンにアレンジ。 和風建築はもちろん、洋風の空間にも調和する美しさでどちらにも似合うデザインです。カジュアルだけれど品があり、伝統的で新しい心地よさ。職人が一足ずつ手作りで仕上げている“凛輝”には、伝統の技と革新がちりばめられています。

YAMATOKOBO is an original setta brand of SAKAGAWA INC. which inherits traditional Japanese sandals manufacturing methods and techniques. Setta, traditional Japanese footwear, has been arranged in a modern and functional way while making the most of its traditional qualities. It is a design that goes well with both Japanese-style architecture and Western-style spaces with its beauty. Casual but elegant, traditional and new comfort. Setta -Rin- is handcrafted by craftsmen, and is a combination of traditional techniques and innovation.
